He Has My Vote...
David Archuleta is amazing! I know most people prefer David Cook to him, but I think he is a thousand times better. I liked Syesha last night too, but David Archuleta always does good, unlike Jason Castro who did horrible. Jason hasn't ever been one of my favorite picks, I just can't get past his nasty hair. I loved Brooke White, she is so pretty. I was really sad to see her get voted off but I'm sure she'll put some kind of record out eventually. All I have to say is that I will be happy to see Jason leave, because after last night I doubt he will be there much longer! Simon was right, this far into the whole competition they should be taking things very seriously and it didn't seem like Jason cared about how well he did or didn't do, in his case, last night.

Motivation
Gregg graduated from Embry-Riddle on Monday. He's worked so hard to get where he is and I know everyone is very proud of him. We all went to Daytona to be with him and celebrate, it was such a nice day!

While we were sitting there watching over 900 students graduate, waiting for Gregg's name to be called (Gregg WILLIAMS, so we had to wait a while), I realized how much I envied them. They were done with school, for the most part, unless they decided to go on and get their Masters or Ph.D., and I just wished I was in their shoes. I am so tired of going to school, knowing I have to go through two more years makes me sad. But Corey keeps telling me not to worry about it, there are people who can't go back to school no matter how much they want to. So in a sense I am thankful, but I just have to remind myself of that when I go to pay for my classes next semester. I know that when everything is said and done, I will appreciate having my education, knowing that I paid for it, with a lot of help from my parents, but also on my own.
On a happier note, my Corey got a job where he can use one of his degrees--no more sheet metal! He is working for Century Ambulance in Jacksonville as an EMT! I am so happy for him, it's about time!!! We're still waiting on certain stations to let him know when he can test, but he's completely happy to be working for Century!
