Love at First Sight

I think I'm one of those movie obsessed people now. In a matter of a month I had read all 4 Twilight books and now I am starting to re-read the first book. I've seen this movie three time, and it will never get old. I think the books and the movie are absolutely amazing. When I actually heard of Twilight, it was on the day that the fourth one came out. I asked the girl in Books-a-Million if these books were any good, and she just looked at me like I had asked her the dumbest question in the world, she said, "let's just say I am reading the fourth one behind the counter right now." So, I bought them...and read the first book in less than two days! Then, I told my mom about them and she was instantly just as hooked as I was!! It is such a sweet love story, one that every girl wants to have. I wasn't thrilled about who they picked as Edward for the movie until I actually saw the movie. All I have to say is, Edward is sexy...and yes, I have admitted that to Corey and he's not thrilled about me liking Twilight anymore (haha) and made me take my mini Twilight poster down.

When I heard the movie was coming out, I can't tell you how happy I was. If you haven't seen it yet then I recommend it...it has to be one of the best movies I've ever seen, which says a lot about the book. Also, Stephenie Meyer has an "official" Twilight website, where you can read her draft of the fifth book for Twilight, Midnight Sun. It's from Edward's point of view and since it's part of the Twilight saga, you know it HAS to be good.

My Happily Ever After!!!

As of December 10, 2008 my life will never be the same...

I took off work to take my last final in Gainesville and have an early birthday lunch with my good friend Brittany and then headed on home to see Corey. He wasn't working (his day off too), and I knew I would get to see him before it got dark (rare!!), so I was trying to hurry! When I got out to his house, he was in a rush and basically told me we had to hurry up and get over to our property (next door) and figure out where we wanted to put our mobile home. Apparently, a land clearing appraiser was on his way out there.

So, Corey brushes his hair and puts on a nice shirt, and I look like a huge bum, but he assures me that he doesn't have anymore clean shirts (believable, but not true!). So Corey and I get there and we're walking around planning out where we want to put everything, waiting on "this guy" to get there. **Side note: In the middle of our property, there is a huge pile of logs where we've decided is the exact spot we want to build our house one day.

After we figure everything out, Corey and I start walking back to his truck and he mentions walking back (to the VERY back) of our property to check his deer camera (Lawtey boy for ya), so I start whining how I don't feel like it, but he made me anyways (THANK GOD!). He starts asking me if "I'm sure I want to live here with him for the rest of my life..."(I'm oblivious to what is about to happen)and I said, "yes...obviously" (by this time we're standing right next to that pile of logs) and he says, "well, you know if you're going to live out here, you have to marry me first," and since Corey and I have talked about getting married for so long, my response was, "yeah, yeah!"

I'm paying no attention to him (because I was still pouting from having to walk so far), and he starts walking away from me towards the back of this pile. When he turns around, he is holding a dozen roses (that he had hidden) and looks at me and just smiles. He gets down on one knee and asks me if I will marry him...and at this point I'm in shock, so I just starting screaming "NO WAY! Are you serious? Are you serious?" (anyone who knows me can picture this perfectly)...I didn't even see the ring, but he had tied it to a bow on the roses, but I just hugged him and started crying...when he calmed me down (haha), he put my ring on my finger (after fighting with the bow because he tied it on there so tight) and I had to sit down, my hands were shaking and I lost all feeling in my legs! I was so surprised and couldn't believe that it was really happening.

Corey and I are getting married on June 27, 2009. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with my best friend, I couldn't of asked for anything more.

We celebrated my birthday on Sunday, to which I got a Wii/ Wii Fit from my love so we can get into shape before June (haha)!! Thank you to everyone for the sweet encouraging words, love and support...they mean so much to Corey and I.
